HASSANI SHAPI - Actor.
Hassani Shapi is an actor born in Kenya and of Baluchi, Kenyan, Belgium and Zairois descent. Hassani has had the acting bug since the age of five, when at the end of the school term he was asked to do the twist on stage to Chuck Berry's "Come on let's twist again". This, he thought, is where I would always like to be.
However, life does not always take one through the path that one plans. His father had alternate plans for him. He trained to be a teacher at Kenya Science Teacher's College in Nairobi, Kenya, then went on to teach for a year before going on to do veterinary medicine, ending up with a Master's Degree in Veterinary Surgery from Maisons- Alfort, Paris. The acting bug kept rearing it's head throughout this period, and any chance he had he would be involved with the stage.
It was only after working in a veterinary clinic in Paris for a year that Hassani dropped everything to go into the acting world professionally.
Since then, he has been consistently acting both in Italy and in England.
